Cadenza
Binod Katwal playing bamboo flute in 2001 and have listened to him evolve and mature as a musician, both in the sweetness of his playing and his versatility.

Navin Chhettri, vocals, drums and percussion, is the founding member of Cadenza and one of the organizers of Nepal's annual jazz festival. Navin's passion for this music has exposed a whole new young generation of Nepalis to the improvisational nature of jazz.

Samir Chettri first talked about joining the graphic design world but is fast following his brothers' footsteps to becoming a consummate musician! Here, playing congas and percussion.

Rajan Shrestha on bass. He also plays with a rock band called Elysium and is the master magician of Vinapa Studio.

Mort Ostensen from the USA on guitar. Music maker, dreamer of dreams, a student of dharma, of life.

Bastian on keyboards, is from Switzerland and has been playing the instrument since he was 7 years old. His major influence was an old "all rounder" musician, as he terms it, who instilled in him a love for many genres of music. A welcome addition to the Kathmandu music scene.

Mariano Aballa from Spain playing sax.
